On May 1, we will be launching a crowdfunding effort to raise needed capital to establish a base of operation for our arts and educational programming here in Cantabria.
Our goals include facilitating classes and workshops, with topics such as:
Oral history of the Saja / Nansa valley
Identification of local flora and fauna
Sustainable agriculture and farming practices
Tools and techniques used in traditional local crafts
Cantabrian Mythology
The location of our home and office is central to achieving these goals, with the regional CEIP, sports complex and .
We will also lend our support to the recovery and rehabilitation of the antique school building, listed in in the historic register and which will provide additional space for all manner of workshops and educational activities.
